Welcome

It's my pleasure to introduce me as an Zither Player

"REINHOLD  WIEDEMANN" on my website.

You know, what's a Zither?

A German Concert Zither consists of a flat sound box across which between 32 to 42 strings are stretched. The strings nearest the player run above fretted fingerboard against
which they are stopped by the left hand to provide melody notes; they are plucked by a plectrum worn on the right thumb. At the same time, the right hand fingers pluck an accompaniment on the farther strings, which remain unstopped. The Concert Zither is placed across the player on a table.
